Librarians drop Laura Ingalls Wilder's name from award, citing concerns about racial stereotypes

Laura Ingalls Wilder, born in 1867 outside Pepin, Wisconsin, is the author of the immensely popular Little House series of novels, which begin with 'Little House in the Big Woods,' published in 1932
