MPs are boosting their expenses payments by up to £9,000-a-year by claiming for dependent children

Rules introduced in 2017 are letting MPs to claim up to £5,400 per child that they support in a second home. Among the worst offenders was energy minister Claire Perry who claimed £9,846.
